Port Phillip’s premier Christmas event, Port Melbourne Bay Street Festival is a spectacular evening of music, entertainment, shopping and dining! The iconic Bay Street come alive for a spectacular evening of live music and entertainment complete with jumping castle for the entire family from 5pm-9pm

Festivities start at 5pm with local choir groups and bands performing across seven different stages - plus roaming entertainment from Disney princesses and of course the big fella - Santa himself.
This is followed by the Jazz Parade down Bay Street where all participants are invited to join the jazz band on their instruments and walk together to the main stage where the entertainment will continue.
Schools Competition
Host to the Mike Brady's Perpetual Trophy Composition Competition for School Choirs & Ensembles, the Bay Street Festival provides surrounding schools with the opportunity to showcase their musical talent. Featuring Port Phillip’s only Choral & Instrumental Competition for Primary and Secondary School Choirs and Ensemble. Schools and groups participating at this year’s event include:

Get ready for a Fun night to celebrate the End of Year with music and laughter, with Santa and Magical Princesses, with choir competition and a JAZZ PARADE! We will have it all and hopefully the weather will be kind to us!
The Festival will start at 5 p.m. for all choirs and instrumental groups to perform on Bay St at their locations (details will be confirmed closer to the date).The Jazz Parade is at 6.20 p.m. (all participants are invited to join the jazz band on their instruments and walk together to the main stage)Choirs Competition at 6.45 p.m.Monash Big Band performance 8 p.m.
Christmas Windows
Covering 150 shop windows and made with over 1000 custom vinyl decals, Port’s Christmas windows are inspired and created by celebrated international display artist, Roz Zweifel. The centrepiece of Port’s Christmas festival, the windows are designed exclusively for the Port Melbourne community.
Celebration Concert
Big bold and full of Christmas cheer, the Port Melbourne Celebration Concert has a fantastic line-up of performers.

Held on a Friday evening, the Christmas Street Festival and concert events enable families to participate in the festivities and entertainment along the length of the Bay Street trading precinct. Jump around in our inflatable castle and meet incredible Magical Princesses!
